You and your teams dedication and hard work throughout the process in addition to the skill and expertise you brought to bear to the project, was in no small measure a major reason why this project was such a success. Blaenavon Wharf historical interpretation Project
Smith and Jones are working with Newport City Council, developing prominent outdoor interpretation, located alongside the River Usk in the Centre of Newport. The work involves research, copywriting, content development, graphic design and project management. Interpretation will ensure visitors connect with the important industrial past of an area that has recently been fully developed and modernised.
The Chartists Exhibition Newport
City Museum and Art Gallery
Smith and Jones have been chosen to help Newport Museum to develop and design a permanent Chartists Exhibition within the Museum. This is an intriguing look into the Chartists political movement and tells the important story of the Chartists in Newport. We are helping in the interpretation of information, content and copy writing and design of the graphics for the whole exhibition.
Magna Carta exhibition and gallery opens at Lincoln Castle
After Months of interpretation and design work, the refurbished exhibition and gallery is now open to visitors. Located within Lincoln Castle, the Magna Carta and Charter of the Forest exhibition has been completely transformed by Smith and Jones.
Lizard Lighthouse Heritage Centre official opening
HRH Princess Royal officially opened the Lizard Lighthouse Heritage Centre this week. The UK's most southerly lighthouse dates back to 1751 and has received a substantial make over by Smith and Jones.

exhibit - Slimbridge WWT
The Wildfowl and Wetlands trust at Slimbridge have asked Smith and Jones to work with them, developing an exciting new outdoor visitor experience. Smith and Jones are currently developing all of the site interpretation, messaging and imagery to the exhibit which opens this summer.
Dare Valley Visitor Centre
South Wales
We have just completed the installation of a permanent visitor centre at Dare Valley Country Park. We created a number of high impact coloured walls that divided the main space, ensuring content was revealed to visitors as they explore. We printed modern graphics direct to plywood creating a natural feel while fabric tensile banners were used to add real impact and a mix of materials. We installed a nature activity desk with magnifying glasses, display case and rubbing discs.
Lizard Lighthouse Heritage Centre - The Lizard, Cornwall
Smith and Jones beat off countrywide competition to land a substantial deal to rework the Lizard Lighthouse Heritage Centre in Cornwall. We will re-design the centre to take visitors on a journey through hundreds of years of lighthouse history and the lives and stories of lighthouse keepers.
Amazing Archive Exhibition Knowle West, Bristol
We helped Knowle West Media Centre turn there Amazing Archive exhibition into reality. The Amazing Archive group met weekly engaging with the local community, understanding their roots, uncovering oral histories, artifacts, stories and photos. The exhibition aims to address common misconceptions of the area Knowle West.
Breaking the Chains - British Empire and Commonwealth Museum
Smith and Jones design and manufacture hands on activities and interactive displays for younger people visiting this ground-breaking £1 million Heritage Lottery Funded exhibition.

Bristol City Museum
This exhibition explores the barriers many people with learning difficulties have experienced in their lives. The exhibition, located in Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery is open for a number of months over the summer.
Bristol Faces Afrikan Footsteps

Smith and Jones worked with a group of young people from Bread Youth Project in Bristol. The teenagers, who are all of African heritage, visited Ghana and curated the exhibition themselves.
