Passion for Paint - Bristol City

Museum and Art Gallery

Large metal box frames were created with a ornate graphic detail, designed to reflect the gold guilt picture frames within the gallery.

Each metal box was designed to frame and enclose a reading area, a DVD presentation area and an activity area.

The look and feel of the exhibition was designed to reflect and contrast with the interior of the Bristol City Museum. The ornate graphic work, gold frames and decorative chandeliers reflected the styling of the museum space, while the modern square form of the gold frames contrasted with the interior space.

The activity area was designed to educate the public on the variety of brush strokes and painting styles used within the paintings of the exhibitions.
