Kings Weston Roman Villa

Kings Weston Villa was discovered during the construction of Lawrence Weston housing estate in 1947; the construction of a road partially destroyed it, but a full excavation was carried out in 1948-50.

Smith and Jones has recently designed and installed interpretation panels to the site together with a hands on activity area for interactive play.
